Your privacy is important to us. It's a major part of the value of this site, so we take it very seriously. And that's why we don't require that you identify yourself.

Here are a few things you should know:

• We do put a cookie on your computer. This cookie holds a unique ID provided by the ChasingStrange database and we use it to identify if someone has voted and what their vote is. The website will still continue to function properly, and we'd have no way of matching your votes or replies to your computer.
• Servers do, as a matter of course, keep logs. This includes geographic information and ip addresses. If you are particularly concerned about hiding your ip address, there are several services that offer free ip-cloaking. The logs do not directly associate ip addresses with specific posts.

Counter Notification

If you are a User who has received notice from us that material posted by you has been removed from our Web site following our receipt of a notice of claimed copyright infringement, and you are the owner of the allegedly infringing material or are otherwise authorized to use such material (including 'fair use'), you may provide written counter notification to our designated agent. Your counter notification must include substantially the following information:

Promptly provide the person who provided the notification with a copy of the counter notification, and inform that person that we will replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it in 10 business days; and

Replace the removed material and cease disabling access to it not less than 10, nor more than 14, business days following receipt of the counter notification, unless our designated agent first receives notice from the person who submitted the notification that such person has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the Customer from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on ChasingStrange.com's system or network.
